Printing association brings training to all

The nation’s largest printing group, Printing Industries of America (PIA), has opened its brand-new Integrated Learning Center.

The centre is intended for persons who work for specialised graphic design, printing, and communications firms, including prepress, customer support, and general management positions.

PIA members and non-members can both take the courses online. Non-members must pay for each course separately; members can acquire an annual membership for all courses for an introductory price of $225.

The Center’s initial programme, “Orientation to the Graphic Arts,” is geared for those who are pleading with businesses for employment. Seven hours of teaching and various tests will be part of it. including a final exam. A certificate of completion will be given to successful candidates.

The courses will be instructed by authorities in respective disciplines who also contributed to their creation..

Another course that will be offered in the near future will be an introduction to colour management. It will cover Photoshop colour correction for prepress. Additionally, the Center promises to provide a course in management and sales.

Learning is made available to everyone who works for design and printing enterprises across the nation by providing online training and education. Employees will save time and money by not having to take time off work or make costly trips to other locations in order to learn the most recent skills in their field.
