How to Add the Print Option on a Web Page

Add a print link to a Web page if you believe viewers will want to print it. A print link, when placed prominently, encourages visitors to print your page. Print links can be created using a variety of different coding languages, but HTML and CSS are the most user-friendly. Because other coding languages aren’t always supported or enabled on viewers’ computers, using HTML and CSS ensures that the print option is available to everyone.
1.Open your HTML editor programme and navigate to the location on your page where you want to add the print link.
2.Copy and paste the following HTML/CSS code into the page. You can replace the “Print this page” label with a label of your choosing:
<a href=”#” onclick=”window.print();return false;”>Print this page</a>
3.Save your Web page and click on the “View in browser” button in the menu bar. Click on the “Print this page” link on the page to open the Print dialog box in your Web browser.
