Effective candidate selection goes beyond paper qualifications to identify individuals who are a perfect fit for your company culture, possess the necessary skills, and share your vision for the future. Here’s why this in-depth approach reaps significant benefits: Uncover Hidden Gems: Resumes can be carefully crafted to highlight strengths and downplay weaknesses. Effective selection methods like behavioral interviewing and skills assessments delve deeper, uncovering a candidate’s true potential, thought processes, and problem-solving abilities. This allows you to identify individuals who might not have the most impressive resume on paper but possess the raw talent and drive to excel within your company. Boost Team Performance: A team is only as strong as its weakest link. Selecting candidates who complement each other’s strengths creates a well-rounded and dynamic team. By evaluating a candidate’s teamwork skills, communication style, and work ethic, you can ensure they’ll integrate seamlessly into your existing team dynamic, fostering collaboration and boosting overall team performance. Reduce Training Costs and Time: Hiring the wrong person can be a costly mistake. Extensive training is often needed to bring them up to speed, impacting productivity and straining resources. Effective selection ensures you hire candidates with the necessary skills and experience, minimizing training requirements and allowing them to hit the ground running. This translates to cost savings and a quicker return on your investment. Enhance Employer Branding: Word travels fast, especially in today’s digital age. Selecting the right people who thrive in your company culture become brand ambassadors. Their positive experiences and testimonials attract top talent who are a natural fit for your organization. This strengthens your employer brand and attracts a wider pool of qualified candidates in future hiring endeavors. Improve Employee Retention: Feeling valued, supported, and challenged are key factors in employee satisfaction. Effective selection identifies candidates who are a good cultural fit and genuinely interested in the role and company mission. This fosters a sense of belonging and purpose, leading to increased employee retention and a more stable workforce. Increased Innovation and Creativity: A diverse team with a variety of backgrounds and perspectives brings a wealth of ideas to the table. Effective selection methods that go beyond traditional resumes can help identify candidates who think outside the box and challenge the status quo. This fosters a culture of innovation and creativity, leading to the development of new products, services, and strategies that propel your business forward. Effective candidate selection is an investment in the future of your company. Choosing the Best Paper for Your Copier

Ordinary Everyday Paper Regardless of the type of business, you require a lot of standard printing paper supplies to be utilised to print daily papers. Believe it or not, there are various varieties of this standard 8.5 x 11 paper available on the market. When taking one of these many sheets, the weight of the paper is one of the first things you might notice. The heavier paper won’t feel heavier than the lighter paper, but it will be significantly thicker, blurrier, and have more distinct nuances overall. Although lighter paper may tend to jam up printers, there are ways to solve this problem, making heavier paper a good option for the majority of printers. The best printer paper is also acid-free, so even if it is stored for a long time, it won’t lose its colour or become damaged. Photo Paper If you use your copier machine for photos, you’ll need a different type of paper than you would typically use. Here is when picture paper is useful. Photo paper is more substantial, has a matte or shiny texture, and enhances colour quality. Printing on this kind of paper is best suited for images rather than text. Matte paper displays more absorbent paper that is made up of air, paper particles, and layers that draw ink. Complicated chemicals are used to create the complex chemical composition of sparkling paper. While matte paper may be more resilient over time, sparkling paper offers a better colour arrangement. It is optional to select between matte or shine finishes, and each manufacturer creates a somewhat different finish. Finding the correct one for you is best done through testing. Resume Paper Resume paper is thicker with a cream or white background and significantly heavier than other paper. usually rough and may appear to be weaved. Although resumes and CVs are printed on this paper most frequently, other papers can also be printed on it to demonstrate its high relevance. It makes sense to preserve this tiny rim. You never know what you might present when presenting significant print materials that will leave a lasting impression. *Other Model Available RICOH MPC3503/ MPC5503 | RICOH MPC3504/ MPC5504 CONTACT US: 03-3341 6296 | 018-788 6296 | 018-228 6296

A Simple Way to Print on Both Sides of the Paper on PC

1) Figure out if your printer supports double-sided printing. If you’re using Word, go to the File tab and choose Print. Print One Sided > Manually Print on Both Sides or Print on Both Sides are the options from there. If you see Print on Both Sides, your printer automatically supports duplex printing. -Do you not have Word? You can also consult the user manual for your printer. If you have multiple printers connected to your computer, one may offer duplex printing while another allows you to reinsert pages for double-sided printing. 2) Make sure your computer is connected to your printer. The name of the presently selected printer can be seen beneath the “Printer” header near the top of the window. -If necessary, connect the printer’s wire to a USB port on your computer first. -To change the currently chosen printer, click its name and then choose the desired printer from the drop-down menu. 3) Go to Control Panel. In Windows 10 or 11, enter the Start menu by hitting the Win key and typing “Control Panel.” To open Control Panel, select the app from the list. 4) Click Devices and Printers. If the list is arranged by category rather than icon, then select View Devices and Printers instead. 5) Right-click a printer. If your printer does not appear in the list, it is not properly connected. When you right-click, a menu will appear next to your cursor. 6) Click Printing Preferences. It’s usually in the first grouping of options in the menu. You can also get to this preferences window by going to Settings > Devices > Printers & Scanners > Your Printer > Manage > Printing Preferences. 7) Click the drop-down next to “Print on Both Sides” and choose an automatic setting. The terminology may differ depending on the brand of your printer, but you’ll notice automatic settings as well as an option for manual double-sided printing. -You may need to click Advanced and go to Printer Features to find the double-sided printing option. -Click Apply when you’re finished to save your changes as default. 8) Open the Print dialog in the software you’re using (Word, Acrobat). You can also press Ctrl + P to open the print dialog window. -Select the option to print double-sided. You may need to click Properties first. 9) Click Print. The button is typically at the bottom of the window, though you’ll find it at the top of the window in Microsoft Word. Clicking Print will prompt your printer to begin printing your document.[2] *Other Model Available RICOH MPC3503/ MPC5503 | RICOH MPC3504/ MPC5504 CONTACT US: 03-3341 6296 | 018-788 6296 | 018-228 6296

Paper Processing Shortcuts Can Damage Equipment and Create Jams

Reputable paper mills adhere to the highest paper manufacturing requirements. Paper mills aiming to undercut their competition will frequently take shortcuts to save resources and offer a cheaper product The papermaking process has many steps, beginning with the conversion of wood to wood pulp and finishing in an 8-step Fourdrinier machine process. Papermaking is a 5,000-year-old highly engineered discipline. There is very little that can be left out of the process without substantially impacting the quality of the end product. Nonetheless, some paper mills strive to sacrifice quality in order to meet the huge demand for low-cost paper. Subpar paper, on the other hand, harms printing equipment by depositing microscopic paper dust particles inside the precision-engineered printer interior. This residue accumulates and eventually clogs the printer’s internal components, resulting in unexpected paper jams and poorly registered images that defy calibration. When subjected to heat, high-quality paper resists curling, is dense enough to respond to vacuum-fed printer actuators, is neither too rough nor too slick, and has just the proper level of moisture (between 4.5% and 6%, depending on the printing process employed). Each sheet should have some friction with the next, but not too much. The number of mechanical properties that printing paper must have in order to produce high-quality output is startling. When you consider visual variables like opacity and brightness, it’s evident that paper can play a significant part in the success of your office. *Other Model Available RICOH MPC3503/ MPC5503 | RICOH MPC3504/ MPC5504 CONTACT US: 03-3341 6296 | 018-788 6296 | 018-228 6296

Building a Culture of Excellence: When you prioritize good selection, you send a clear message: mediocrity is not tolerated. This attracts high-caliber individuals who share your commitment to excellence. This positive selection bias fosters a culture of continuous improvement, propelling your entire organization forward. 5. Upgrade Your Life Through Better Selection: Make Smarter Choices

The idea of selection isn’t confined to workplaces. It’s a powerful tool you can wield in your everyday life to make significant improvements. By consciously applying the principles of meticulous selection to your choices, you can upgrade your life and steer it towards greater fulfillment. Here’s how: Prioritize ruthlessly: Time and energy are finite resources. Just like selecting the right projects at work, identify what truly matters in your life. Are you spending too much time on activities that drain you? Select to eliminate or delegate these tasks, freeing up space for what brings you joy and fuels your goals. ** curate your social circle:** The people you surround yourself with significantly impact your outlook and well-being. Selectively choose to spend time with those who inspire, support, and uplift you. People who share your values and positively challenge you become a powerful support system on your life journey. Choose your battles wisely: Life throws its fair share of curveballs. Not every situation requires your full attention. Selectively choose which battles to fight and which to let go. This reduces stress and allows you to focus your energy on what truly matters. Fuel your body and mind: You are what you eat (and what you consume mentally). Selectively choose nutritious foods that nourish your body and fuel your energy levels. Be mindful of the information you consume as well. Limit negativity and select uplifting content, inspiring stories, and knowledge that expands your horizons. Embrace the power of ‘No’: Saying no empowers you to prioritize your time and energy. Selectively choose opportunities that align with your goals and values. Don’t be afraid to decline requests that drain your resources or pull you away from what’s important. Create a life you love: Your environment shapes your experiences. Selectively choose where you live, how you decorate your space, and the overall aesthetic you create. A well-organized and inspiring environment fosters creativity, productivity, and a sense of calm. By upgrading your selection process in these various aspects of life, you make choices that align with your values and goals. This, in turn, leads to a more fulfilling and joyful life experience. Remember, selection is not about deprivation; it’s about making conscious choices that empower you to thrive. *Other Model Available RICOH MPC3503/ MPC5503 | RICOH MPC3504/ MPC5504 CONTACT US: 03-3341 6296 | 018-788 6296 | 018-228 6296

Mastering the Art of Choice: How Good Selection Empowers You

Life is a constant dance with choices, big and small. From the mundane (what to eat for breakfast) to the life-altering (career paths, relationships), the decisions we make shape our experiences and define who we become. But navigating this constant stream of choices can be overwhelming. Here’s where the art of good selection comes in, empowering you to make choices with confidence and clarity. 1. From Choice Overload to Intentional Selection: Our modern world bombards us with options. This “choice overload” can lead to paralysis and indecision. Good selection flips the script. It transforms a daunting array of choices into a manageable process. By gathering information, considering your values, and evaluating potential consequences, you move from passive consumer to active decision-maker. 2. Cultivating Self-Awareness: The Foundation of Good Selection The ability to make good choices hinges on self-awareness. Understanding your strengths, weaknesses, values, and goals provides a compass that guides your selection process. When faced with a decision, ask yourself: “Does this choice align with who I am and what I want to achieve?” 3. Embracing Delayed Gratification: Good selection isn’t always about the quick win. Tempting choices that offer instant gratification can often lead to long-term regret. The art of selection encourages you to consider the bigger picture. By prioritizing long-term benefits over fleeting pleasures, you make choices that contribute to a more fulfilling life. 4. Building Resilience Through Smart Selection: Life throws curveballs. While perfect choices don’t guarantee a smooth ride, good selection equips you to handle challenges with greater resilience. By making informed decisions and learning from missteps, you build mental fortitude and the ability to adapt to changing circumstances. 5. Beyond You: The Ripple Effect of Good Selection The power of good selection extends beyond the individual. When you make choices that prioritize quality, sustainability, and ethical practices, you send a ripple effect throughout the world. Supporting fair-trade businesses, choosing eco-friendly products, and fostering a culture of respect in your workplace – these are all examples of good selection that contribute to a better future for all. Mastering the art of selection is a lifelong journey. By embracing this approach, you transform the act of choosing from a burden to a source of empowerment. You take control of your life, chart your course with intention, and navigate the world with confidence and purpose. pen_spark   tuneshare more_vert *Other Model Available RICOH MPC3503/ MPC5503 | RICOH MPC3504/ MPC5504 CONTACT US: 03-3341 6296 | 018-788 6296 | 018-228 6296
