How do I Allow for Printer Sharing on AVG Internet Security?

AVG Internet Security allows you to manage your company’s incoming and outgoing Internet connections. It also allows you to manage printer access on your network, ensuring that only you and your coworkers have access to these devices. You can monitor sharing settings in AVG Internet Security’s dedicated File and Printer Sharing panel. To change printer sharing settings, go to the Windows Network and Sharing Center. The AVG Internet Security firewall then applies these settings automatically.

1.Click “Control Panel” on the Windows Charms bar.

2.Click the “View devices and printers” link located beneath the Hardware and Sound heading.

3.Click the printer you want to share and select “Properties” on the menu that appears.

4.Click the “Sharing” tab, place a check mark in the “Share this printer” check box and then click “OK.”

5.Launch AVG Internet Security and click the “Firewall” tile.

6.Click the “File and printer sharing” link located on the left of the window and verify that the File and Printer Sharing page says that “File and printer sharing is enabled.”
